The CNC Shop Assistant is an entry-level position for individuals interested in pursuing a career in machine tool technology and/or aerospace technology. You'll play a vital role in the world of precision machining tool technology and/or aerospace technology. If you have a passion for creating world class aircraft cabin solutions, this is the opportunity for youKey Details: Work Days and Hours: 40 hours, flexible schedule between 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays. Candidate can choose their preferred hours within this timeframe.Location: This is an onsite position located in Carrollton, TX (with move to Addison, TX within 3-4 months)Compensation: $18/hour + profit sharing and comprehensive benefits package.Work Eligibility: Must be authorized to work in the United States. While our customers vary widely in size, market, and geographic location, they all come to Heads Up for the same reason: Heads Up's commitment to delivering highly innovative solutions that enhance their end user's experience.The company is well-positioned for continued growth and expansion and has partnered with a proven private equity firm to enable their growth goals.What you'll do You'll be responsible for a variety of hands-on tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our CNC machine shop.Deburring Parts: Skillfully removing rough edges and imperfections from machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards.Washing Parts: Using industrial equipment to clean and prepare parts for further processing or assembly.Loading/Unloading Parts: Safely handling and moving materials in and out of CNC machines, contributing to the production process.Assisting Machinists: Providing support to our skilled machinists as needed to keep operations running efficiently.Maintain all quality and safety standards.Keep work area clean at all times.Other duties as assigned.
