The Employee Bereavement Specialist will partner with Human Resources across RTX to deliver death benefit processes. What You Will Do + Administer RTX in-service employee death benefit process + Serve as the point of contact to the beneficiary and surviving family member(s) + Coordinate the process for across RTX teams including HR, People Services and external vendors + Oversee process and activities to ensure deliverables are completed and service levels are met + Meet with team members to administer process and resolve issues + Establish feedback cadence to key stakeholders + Escalate issues and process delays, as necessary + Ensure tasks are done accurately and on time + Continual process improvement to enhance and streamline process + Enhance standard work to provide playbook on employee death benefit process + Other People Services projects and duties, as assigned + Approximately 5% travel domestically (as required) Qualifications You Must Have + Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or An Advance Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience + 4+ years of experience with benefit operations and / or HR generalist + 2+ years of previous experience working with vendors + Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
