As a key member of the Highlands Leadership Team, you manage the Quality Assurance Program at this 115 person manufacturing facility, which produces over 80 million rigid plastic containers annually. Your mission is to assure we deliver the high standards of excellence for which Plastipak is knownYou WillFormulate and maintain Quality Control objectives and coordinate these objectives with the Production procedures to maximize product reliability and minimize costsUphold ISO compliance and maintaining food safety program, insuring applicable programs are sustainable and effective (i.e. bacterial testing, pest control program, etc.)Govern Quality Control through internal and external audits, data analysis and reporting, documentation and other due diligenceChampion Continuous Improvement Team, and providing guidance and oversight to customers and leadership teamServes as primary contact between the customer and production facility (i.e. serves as the voice of the customer regarding all quality related activities)Serve as a member of the Site Steering Committee, comprised of the site functional leadersYou HaveBachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (packaging, or plastics)Minimum of five (5) years of Quality Assurance manufacturing experienceFunctional knowledge of statistical process controls and manufacturing operationsProficiency with statistical software application, such as MinitabDemonstrated communication and interpersonal skills at the level appropriate to represent Plastipak to customers, vendors, regulatory agencies and executivesPlastipak is an Equal Opportunity EmployerIn order to process your job application, Plastipak collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
