Raytheon is seeking a Logistics Manager to support the Raytheon Distribution Team located in El Segundo, CA. The logistics manager will manage the team responsible for the movement of material, hardware, and equipment throughout the El Segundo campus and neighboring counties. This leader will also collaborate with team members, production teams, engineering, and operations to ensure the safe and efficient transport and delivery of materials.
Responsibilities will include:
Be knowledgeable in Raytheon safety standards, train team members and ensure compliance.
Comply with Department of Transportation (DoT) driver and vehicle requirements.
Continuous development, review, and updates of command media.
Monitor and review Key Performance Indicators (KPI) to define team effectiveness and engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
Update and develop new Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) as tasks change or new high-risk tasks are identified.
Monitor employee training and safety records, collaborating with Human Resources/Labor Relations to provide coaching/disciplinary action as required.
Work with Environmental Health and Safety team to promote safety first.
Manage department budgets.
Collaborate with Logistics functions from other sites to develop and deploy best practices and establish common processes.
Use of SAP and other relevant business systems.
Required Experience:
Minimum 5 years professional experience in logistics, production, transportation and/or similar field.
People manager, supervisor or lead experience.
Desired Experience:
Experience with Department of Transportation (DoT) Regulations.
Route planning and driver tracking.
Education:
Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.

The salary range for this role is 105,000 USD - 221,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
