Support assembly lines and machining departments including root cause corrective action (RCCA) investigation and resolution. Develop facilities plan including processing equipment, plant layout, material flow, and infrastructure needs. Design advanced powered and manually clamped fixturing as needed to support welding, machining, and assembly processes for all manufacturing plants. Lead capital equipment projects. Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites. Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs. Capacity resource planning. Assist NPIs. Manufacturing Technical resource for R&D Engineering. Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor and/or manager. 15-25% work travel required. Additional Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering. 3-5+ years of professional experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment. Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment. Proven Project Management experience. Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization. Possess a strong technical knowledge of metalworking processes. Capital equipment procurement experience preferred. Assisting with NPIs. Expert with 3D CAD software in a fixture design environment, Creo preferred. 2D AutoCAD LT. Proficient in best drafting practices including GD&T. CNC programming and operation. PLC diagnostics.
