Job Description Primary Objective & Scope of Position The Power BI Developer has the opportunity to impact the Slumberland organization by collaborating with the business to uncover analytical opportunities. This position will work closely with Data Engineers and directly with the business units for requirements gathering, validation and development of Power BI reports and Dashboards. Knowledge & Education Requirements Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize data and provide insights for decision-making. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Develop data models and implement data transformations to ensure data accuracy and usability within Power BI. Optimize performance and efficiency of Power BI reports and dashboards. Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure the quality and reliability of developed solutions. Stay updated with the latest Power BI features and best practices, and proactively suggest improvements to existing processes and solutions. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize their utilization of Power BI. Support legacy SSRS reporting environment.Maintain and support legacy SSIS data integrations in on prem SQL 2019 environment. Requirements Knowledge & Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role. Proficiency in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M Query. Strong understanding of data visualization principles and best practices. Experience in data modeling and database design concepts. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with a passion for continuous learning and improvement. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server tools including SSRS, SSIS and SSMS and relational database management systems.Experience with Power BI Native connection to NetSuite.
