The Senior Project Manager will be instrumental in leading and managing a portfolio of complex projects within the Air National Guard (ANG) Systems Engineering Technical Support services. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in project management, systems engineering, and technical support. The Senior Project Manager will ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance with DoD regulations. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the documentation of current processes or procedures for recurrent day-to-day tasks and implement Process Improvement (PI) initiatives with government concurrence. Coordinate project task development and completion for ANG projects, providing review and technical oversight to support the Cyberspace Systems Division and ANG stakeholders. Provide technical support in Integrated Project Teams (IPTs) to support requirement development and planning. Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule on a continuous risk management basis. Provide technical support in the fielding effort of IT systems by defining the synchronization sequence of fielding tasks for planned IT deployments and employments. Ensure the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables. Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to quality standards and reviewing project deliverables. Manage the integration of project management and systems engineering activities, ensuring a cohesive approach to achieving project objectives. Develop, review, and update acquisition schedules, milestones, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), and Evaluation Criteria. Plan, participate, and develop information and briefs for program management reviews. Track and disseminate information and policy alerts, developing and tracking workload lists for future years' requirements with ANG customers. Provide strategic planning assistance to management and anticipate potential chokepoints, identifying workarounds. Maintain historical acquisition documents and records.

Position Requirements

Secret Position Responsibilities: Leads complex network system projects, ensuring scope, timeline, and budget adherence. Oversees LAN, WAN, AIN, Intranet, and Internet development/maintenance. Collaborates with network engineers to define project parameters, maintains network hardware/software, and ensures availability. Translates business needs into detailed network requirements, offering strategic project direction. Dual hat: Alternate Contract Manager. Position Qualifications: PMP certification required. MA/MS degree in a relevant field. 10 yrs experience Extensive project management experience. Must possess all required licenses for operating NIPR and SIPRNet. IAM III certification based on job duties and access levels at ANG NOS McConnell. ITIL Foundations, Project Management Professional (PMP), or Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM) for supervisory roles. Desired: Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and to manage a portfolio of projects simultaneously. In-depth knowledge of DoD 5000 series regulations and other governance related to acquisition and project management within the DoD. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and teams. Full-Time/Part-Time
