This is a direct hire opportunity, and offers a full benefit package. Benefits include: PTO package 9 paid holidays Bonus/incentive plan 401K with Company matching Medical, dental and additional health insurance programs SUMMARY The Estimator will estimate work to be manufactured/produced, including labor, material costs and outside vendors. This person will source/order materials for jobs as needed, and coordinate with outside vendors to assure work is completed to specifications and on schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Attend estimating turnover meetings and ask questions to confirm details, deadlines and scope of estimating needs. Review proposals, blueprints, and related documents to inform estimate. Enter descriptions of items to be estimated into database. Enter labor, material and vendor costs for estimate entry, seeking input from department heads (Engineering, Fabrication, Graphics, Logistics) as needed to ensure costs are covered. Submit completed estimates for review by Operations Manager, and once approved, forward estimates to client services team. Stay informed on shop capabilities and build approaches to inform estimates. Update and maintain database of outside vendors to sourcing. Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. Review and update pricing used in estimates based on current market pricing. Identify qualified subcontractors and vendors. Order materials needed for job, staying aware of production and shipping deadlines. Pull PO's and forward to vendors as needed for orders. Build relationships with key vendors and subcontractors. REQUIREMENTS:

2-3 years of relevant estimating experience. Attention to detail. High level of organization and multitasking. Experience with custom fabrication, displays, cabinetry a plus.
