What You Need: Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field At least 5 years in a HR Business Partner role within a manufacturing environment, pharmaceutical or GMP experience is highly preferred Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines including organizational development, employee relations, strategy, and compliance Working knowledge of HRIS systems, experience with ADP is a plus PHR or SHRM certification preferred

What Your Role Will Look Like: The HR Business Partner will be playing a key role in aligning our HR initiatives and functions with business objectives and business needs across the company. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of HR practices and employee management and gear their expertise to deliver value-added service to leaders and employees, ensuring compliance with company policies and state and federal employment laws while escalating concerns as appropriate.

Evaluates and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates needs with the HR Department and business management. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies. Acts as a trusted partner to leadership on strategic and operational HR issues, suggests new HR strategies, and provides HR guidance when appropriate. Conducts and attends weekly meetings with respective business functions. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, and monitors and reports on workforce planning and succession planning. Identifies training needs for business units and individuals, participates in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success, and follows up to ensure training objectives are met. Works closely with the People and Development Team to implement strategic HR initiatives Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions). Conducts stay interviews and exit interviews, listening to employee feedback and providing guidance to leaders. Conducts employee round table discussions and coffee talks to learn what is working well across the company and where there are opportunities for improvement. Document, track, and execute action plans in a timely manner. Works closely with leaders and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Track and report engagement and retention metrics to show improvement.
