Job Description

CLO Analyst or Associate

Jefferies CLO Business is actively looking for an Analyst or Associate for our New York office to help support all aspects of our credit securitization business. Candidate would be part of a 9 person team responsible for the structuring, origination, trading and syndication of all CDO/CLO products.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
  • Candidate would support the deal team's work on structuring new issue transactions, as well as marketing and selling those deals.
  • Interact directly with CLO managers and tranche investors to help facilitate deal syndication.
  • Model elaborate transactions and propose creative solutions to complex structures.
  • Assist the progression of a transaction over the entire deal's life cycle from pitching for the mandate to organizing closing deliverables.
  • Candidate would also be responsible for aiding in the trading of CLO/CDO tranches and determining relative value from AAA's to Equity.
  • Monitor the new issue and secondary CLO/CDO markets to identify ongoing and evolving market trends.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and 1+ years of Structuring/ Banking experience (direct CLO experience is preferred, but not required).
  • Knowledge of Intex (including Intex DealMaker) and rating agency CLO models are benefits.
Qualifications:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a variety of transactions and projects simultaneously.
  • Resourceful self-starter, able to work autonomously and within the team.
  • Strong analytical skills are a must.
  • Series 7, 63 & 79 preferred.

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range of $100,000 to $165,000.

The salary offered will take into consideration an individual's experience level and qualifications.
