A Sales Associate will also build customer relations, generate new customer accounts, and monitor the current marketplace for products we are selling. When not assisting customer service, employees will assist with daily warehouse duties and specific duties assigned. ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve sales to customers via in-person, phone and email. Demonstrate the Knowledge of the products that you are selling, and what their functions with purpose are. Collaborate with manager to achieve new objectives including territory customers, profit margins, customer maintenance, warranty issues, returns and any marketplace issues. B2B & B2C Sales Manage Accounts of key businesses which include rebuilders, farms, city mechanic shops, dealerships, equipment rental shops, etc. Develop new professional and technical knowledge daily to provide support to our customers. Establish and build excellent salesman to customer relations. Speak and listen effectively in dealing with customers over the phone and via email. Understanding and knowing how to operate the resources you have at hand to identify customer's parts, obsolete units and components. Understanding the similarities in our products, as most units we work with can interchange with another part, in the event we are out of stock of one part or another. Organization and safe keeping of discarded materials in a manner as to where they will not be harmful. (Example: core units and core batteries) This role does sometimes have the probability to travel to the customer as needed. Maintaining inventory on hand of popular units. Ability to excel in a busy, fast-paced environment Ability to adapt and learn new product lines. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude at all times. Attend company functions and events as available WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications): High School Diploma or GED required 1-2 years of professional experience, preferably in a distribution or service environment 1-2 years of experience with automotive and powersports industry. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving ability Requires strong oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with other team members/employees, internal customers and department/organization management Requires general computing skills, including ability to use word processing, spreadsheets, and accounting software PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, talk and/or hear, and/or use hands to handle, or touch objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required to walk, bend, distinguish colors/parts or use repetitive movement for certain tasks. The employee must be able to lift and carry 25 to 60lbs occasionally and lift more than 60lbs intermittently. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is continuously required to perform comprehensive reasoning, decision making and math skills. The mental and physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an individual to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Customer Service work is performed in a office setting. Warehouse work is performed in a warehouse setting and in summer months can experience extreme heat (>80 degrees) or extreme cold ( Lube-Tech is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
