Studio Description

INC Architecture & Design is a multi-disciplinary Architecture and Design studio, with experience in a wide range of project types located in the SoHo District of New York City. Having executed high-rise residential buildings, hotels, restaurants, galleries, retail stores, private residences, and private residential interiors, the studio.

Summary

The Marketing Coordinator at INC supports various marketing tasks under the partners’ guidance. Responsibilities include updating marketing collateral, coordinating social media content, managing website content, and assisting with event planning. They also collaborate on business development, working closely with the BD Manager.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Creative
    • Help bring new ideas for design and content creation of marketing collateral.
    • Create, implement, and develop document templates under supervision.
    • Participate in the development of image based concept presentations in relation to creative marketing.
    • Develop graphic branding on design projects as well as for the office’s own marketing assets.
  • Asset Management. Maintain and feed the Data Asset Management system (DAM) and pipeline..  Coordinate the  distribution of assets with various parties.
  • Photoshoots. Organize and participate in photo and video shoots of INC’s projects and products.  Photo editing in Photoshop and an interest/competence in videography and editing are desired.
  • Standards.  Maintain internal graphic standards for digital assets and the pipeline for new assets..
  • Portfolios.  Create and produce portfolios and collateral for business development.
  • Social Media.  Produce and maintain social media on a weekly basis based on a plan using social media platforms and management software.  Provide data for quarterly reports.
  • Press. Assist in tracking and recording all press mentions. Assist with the creation of responses for press inquiries, providing pre-approved images and information to press as directed by the team 
  • Website.  Maintain and update website content.  Organize and lead any new roll-outs.  Provide data for quarterly reports.
  • Third Parties. Support coordination with outside agencies, art services, printers, PR agents, etc.
  • Professional Development. Maintain technical knowledge by attending design workshops; reviewing professional publications; and participating in professional societies.
  • Events. Handle the creative/marketing aspects of event planning under supervision.
  • Reporting: Work with the BD Manager to provide analytical reporting to the Partners on a quarterly basis to assess impact of Business Development and Marketing efforts
 

Competencies

  • Strong ability to communicate both visually and in written form
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign) and Powerpoint. Experience.
  • Very organized and systematic in thinking
  • Video editing experience  is ideal
  • Printing/reprographics coordination
 

Education and Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA in Journalism, Design or Architecture with 1-3 years of relevant experience in Architecture or Interior Design firm or related business
  • 1-3 years experience in marketing communications and working in social media
  • Strong copywriting, communication and organizational skills
  • Software literacy required in Google Drive/Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Constant Contact, and Filemaker Pro. Some experience in InDesign

Benefits

This salaried position benefits begin after a three-month introductory period.  Benefits include two weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays, plus time off between Christmas and New Year’s; health, dental and vision insurance; snacks; beer & coffee on tap, and a 401K. The salary range for the position is $60,000 to $90,000. 

Taxes will be withheld from salary as per the requirements of the IRS and New York State.
