Title: Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) - Hospitalist
Location: Maury Regional Medical Center - Columbia, TN
Position Shift: Part Time Weekends 7p-7a
Position Summary:
Inpatient night nurse practitioner or physicians assistant. Primary duties will include fielding and managing all cross cover calls on hospitalized patients and assessing patients during rapid response calls. We also ask that our nocturnist NP/PA helps prepare discharges in our Short Stay Unit for the following day. May need to be available to assist nocturnists in admissions if there is exceptionally high volume.
Credentials / Education:
* American Nurses Credentialing Center TN Required
* American Academy of Nurse Practitioners Certification Program Required
* Maintain ACLS Certification
* NP Experience Preferred
Or
* Graduate of an AMA Accredited Physician Assistant Program Required
* Board Certified Required and Possess/Maintain Valid Physician Assistant Licensure Required
* Maintain ACLS Certification
* PA Experience Preferred
Acute Care NP or PA Experience Preferred
