Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling. Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally. Prepare reports as requested by Sales managers. Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems related to Sales and Marketing activities (e.g., tours, mailings). Perform general office duties (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying). 

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience
Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese language skills
  • Notary License Required:  associate must have notary license active and in good standing by the end of nine (9) month introductory period, from date of hire.

Preferred:

  • One-year related experience

• Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible. 

• Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner. 

• Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service. 

• Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
