Requires the ability to influence others by explaining facts, policies and practices. Problems faced may be difficult but generally not complex. Demonstrates integrity, accountability and transparency; upholds BKV standards, values and culture.RESPONSIBILITIESTypical job responsibilities of the PRODUCTION ENGINEER II include:•Conduct well surveillance including identifying and eliminating sources of downtime.•Optimize artificial lift including plunger lift and rod pump wells.•Identify, plan, prioritize, execute, and perform lookbacks on projects.•Track and manage lease operating expenses.•Collaborate and communicate with asset team and JV partners.•Build analytical models.•Utilize production data to generate reports on production performance, trends, and issues. Present findings to cross functional teams.•Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and operational best practices.•Provide guidance and assistance to junior engineers, sharing expertise and contributing to their professional growth.•Stay up to date on existing and emerging technology.•Perform other duties as assigned.REQUIRED SKILLS•Understanding of natural gas industry standards, market trends, emerging issues, and regulatory requirements.•Strong fundamental knowledge of production engineering and operations.•Working knowledge of geology and petrophysics.•Proficient in Microsoft Office and job-related applications.
