Job Title: Cerner Clinical Application Specialist Department: Information Technology Reports To: Chief Information Officer Primary Purpose : Responsible for supporting clinical end users at Kahuku Medical Center. This includes troubleshooting of Cerner applications and other clinical systems. Responsible for extracting and transforming data for executive decision support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and modifies Cerner applications as required. Provides help desk support for Cerner applications to end users. Maintains user privileges and security within Cerner Millennium. Identifies, designs, develops, tests, implements and documents system modifications. Develops and maintains internal documentation on software, business processes, and extracted data as required locally and by pertinent regulations. Develops guidance documentation for end users and management. Participates actively with user group, user forum, testing and validation of modifications within Cerner Millennium. Serve as a data analytics resource for executive decision support. Support reporting for required compliance measures. Physical Demands:

Ability to regularly stand, walks, sits, stop, kneel, bend or crouch to assist users. Ability to use hands to manipulate tools, equipment or controls. Mental Demands:

High levels of attention to detail, concentration and alertness needed. Ability to solve distinct issues effectively. Ability to handle emergency or crisis situations. Ability to work in team-oriented environments. Communication Demands:

Ability to communicate verbally and written clearly and effectively. Be approachable; relate well to others; be receptive to feedback and articulate clearly. Actively listens to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Skills/Knowledge: Understanding of statistical methods, clinical analytics Excellent organizational skills. Education/Training:
