Laboratory Shipping & Receiving Technician Location: 94 South Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748 (Onsite) Pay: $26/hr on W2 Role Overview: Responsible for receiving, logging, preparing, and shipping laboratory samples and media. Supports lab operations by ensuring accurate sample tracking and timely media distribution. No prior lab experience required; training provided. Key Responsibilities: Enter submitted sample data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) (~50%). Collect, package, and ship media orders to clients (~30%). Perform gravimetric analysis of air samples following quality control procedures (~10%). Prepare air sampling media for industrial hygienists and clients (~10%). Communicate with clients and lab coordinators regarding sample or media issues. Skills & Requirements: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and independent work abilities. Comfortable with computers and learning new software; MS Office proficiency required.
