Customer Service Representative

Customer Service Representatives serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing assistance with product inquiries, order processing, and records management. The ideal candidate is empathetic, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the company's reputation for outstanding customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction while maintain compliance with laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and followed for compliance
- Accurately input and review patient files to ensure documentation of sales, payments, service requests, and delivery/shipment information is correct
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
- Maintain patient files in accordance with laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Schedule service repairs with customers
- Collaborate with other departments to resolve customer issues and improve service delivery.
- Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with the service.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of customer service policies and procedures.
- Handle customer complaints with empathy, aiming for resolution and satisfaction.
- Support sales and marketing initiatives by providing feedback and insights based on customer interactions.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably within the medical equipment or healthcare industry.
- Ability to maintain patient records, understand reimbursement requirements and basic accounting functions
- Knowledge of insurance reimbursement guidelines and eligibility for coverage
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Compensation: $18/hr Min - 22+ based on experience
- Monday - Friday 8:00-5:00 with 1 hour lunch
