Job Summary

The Training Coordinator at RowCal will be an integral part of our team, responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing a comprehensive peer-to-peer training system within the company. This role is crucial in ensuring that our employees are well-equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of RowCal.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Develop Training Programs:
    • Design and develop engaging training programs and materials that align with company goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and create customized training plans.
  • Coordinate Peer-to-Peer Training:
    • Establish and manage a peer-to-peer training system, promoting knowledge sharing and mentorship among employees.
    • Identify and train peer trainers, ensuring they are well-prepared to deliver effective training sessions.
    • Handle the logistics and internal communication around selecting employees who are in a position to take time to participate in the program.
  • Facilitate Training Sessions:
    • Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually.
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments for continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and Assess Training Impact:
    • Track and analyze the progress of trainees and the overall impact of training programs.
    • Collect feedback from participants and trainers to assess the effectiveness and relevance of training content.
  • Maintain Training Records:
    • Keep accurate records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
    • Prepare and present reports on training metrics and effectiveness to management.
  • Support Company Growth:
    • Work closely with the Integration team, HR and management to ensure that training initiatives support the company's growth strategies.
    • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance training programs.
  • Traveling:
    • Regular travel within the States that RowCal provides services for.
Qualifications and Educational Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in training and development coordination, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain focus with multiple tasks at one time.
  • Ability to design and implement effective training programs.
  • Proficiency in technology around video calls, screen sharing, and SOP creation/updating.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to drive to and from several locations on occasions
  • Ability to work on a computer and stare at a monitor screen for prolonged periods of time
  • Employees in this role must be able to sit, stand, walk, bend for prolonged periods of time
