Job description:
We are looking for a French and English-speaking Warehouse Associate to participate and lead efforts in our warehouse operations and activities at our Service Center located in Concord, ON. Warehouse workers responsibilities include storing materials, picking, packing and scanning orders. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
Minimum Requirements:
Highschool diploma or equivalent certificate.
Ability to perform simple math and mathematical conversions. Ability to operate digital and balance beam scales. Must pass forklift certification and comply with all company safety policies.
Steel-toed foot ware and safety glasses are required at all times in productions areas. Other personal protective and safety related equipment as outlined in Carbolines handbook.
English and French are a big plus.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift 70 pounds. Must be physically and medically capable of wearing ½ face respirator and dust mask.
Standing/kneeling/walking/sitting on concrete for approximately. Operating fork-lift approximately 8 hours a day.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, label, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Complete diary logs into inventory
- Report any discrepancies
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Committed to the Company's safety and quality programs
