Description:

  • New business development and project estimating
  • Reviewing proposals, plans, drawings, and specifications
  • Working with internal and external personnel on the development of project plans, safety plans, resource plans, etc.
  • Providing direction, training and leadership to project crews including sub-contractors and other personnel
  • Interfacing with local officials, inspectors, and other state transportation cabinet personnel
  • Managing project(s) including job cost tracking

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge on various types of heavy equipment (graders, dozers, trackhoes, etc.)
  • Excellent project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
  • Preferably, 10 years of direct industry experience including supervision of a variety of site personnel
  • Positive customer service-oriented attitude.
