Pipe Layer Job Description

Kerr Contractors is seeking a skilled Pipe Layer to join our team in the Heavy Civil Construction field. As a Pipe Layer, you will be responsible for laying pipes for storm drains, sewers, and water mains, setting and maintaining the right line and grade for the job, and installing parts and pieces for water and sewer systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lay pipes for storm drains, sewers, and water mains
  • Set and maintain the right line and grade for the job
  • Install parts and pieces for water and sewer systems
  • Test systems to find and fix problems
  • Use surveying tools to ensure accurate installation

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in pipe laying
  • Valid driver's license
  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and physicals
  • Submit to background screening
  • Reliable transportation
