As a Yard Jockey/ Dock worker youll be responsible for the movement of trailers on site. You will also be responsible for safely operating a forklift and maintaining the movement of freight within the warehouse. Your organizational skills will be critical in your efforts to maintain a neat and orderly warehouse. Your attention to detail is critical, as this is a low mileage severe duty function requiring particular attention to preventive maintenance checks and services.

**Hours**: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Friday

**Responsibilities:**

* Maintaining an organized warehouse/ dock

* Safely operate tractor-trailer truck

* Load and unload cargo

* Properly track and document activity log

* Report any issues or incidents to dispatch

* Pre & Post trip truck inspection

* Timely movements of trailers in the yard

* Communicate with on site Manager

* Performing lot and door checks

* Checking trailers for safety

* Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications:**

* Previous Tractor Trailer Driving Experience

* Commercial Class A drivers license

* Ability to handle physical workload

* Strong work ethic

* Warehousing and Dock operations knowledge

* Forklift experience
