**Summary**

The Group EH&S Manager is the market safety lead for foundations and civil related scope of work within our ROW/Power Delivery Market. This position will supervise a team of safety professionals in the field and works closely with the Senior VP of Operations. This position is based out of our Corporate Knoxville, TN office and will require approximately 50% travel.

**Primary Responsibilities**

* Provide safety support to all levels of management (executive to project).

* Conduct routine field safety assessments to reinforce our People First culture.

* Provides strategic guidance on planning, development, administration, and management to ensure execution of the EH&S Program Manual.

* Assist with incident investigations and works in conjunction with SVP of Operations for significant events.

* Works closely with Corporate Safety Team (PIH) to develop, implement, and update safety policies and procedures.

* Communicates and interactions with clients to form a partnership.

* Hoists/leads multiple safety meetings with senior leadership and safety team members.

* Aid and help support professional development of safety team members.

**Education/Certifications**

* A Bachelors degree (B.S.) in Safety Management or similar related field is preferred.

* CSP preferred and/or willingness to obtain.

**Requirements**

* Previous experience in foundation (driven/drilled), access road construction (matting/aggregate), heavy civil construction, and erosion & sediment installation/maintenance.

* Experience working around heavy equipment to include cranes and drill rigs.

* Minimum of 5 years previous construction experience. Experience in electrical transmission, distribution, and/or substations is preferred.

* Highly motivated individual with previously demonstrated leadership skills.

* Ability to effectively communicate up and down the organizational structure.

* Strong planning, organizational, and people management skills.

* Proficient computer skills in Microsoft applications, Bluebeam, and similar.

**Compensation Package**

* Competitive salary will be based on a combination of previous related experience, education, and credentials.
