Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities – Senior Marketing Manager Collaborate closely with the SVP of Sales and Marketing to shape and execute marketing strategy and programs in a dynamic environment at our rapidly growing software company. While overseeing the marketing team, this hands-on role is an effective content creator in various aspects, including digital advertising on platforms like Google Ads, Bing, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram, event materials, influencing blogs, press releases, and white papers. Essential to the position is expertise in event organization and planning, as we actively participate in 35+ trade shows and virtual events annually. The ideal candidate must thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess the agility to pivot quickly, and bring extensive experience to not only direct but actively contribute to the successful implementation of marketing communications projects, enhancing brand value and generating qualified leads. Job Responsibilities: Lead Generation: Develop and execute lead generation strategies encompassing newsletters, webinars, events, and email campaigns. Strategize and implement initiatives to attract and engage potential customers across various channels. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing and sales objectives. Content Generation: Drive content creation efforts including website content, press releases, blogs, white papers, social media posts, customer testimonials, case studies, and sales aid materials. Ensure the creation of compelling and relevant content that resonates with target audiences and supports the buyer's journey. Manage content development projects from conception to delivery, maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms. Branding: Oversee branding initiatives such as SEO optimization, digital advertising, analyst relations, publications, awards, call for papers, and vlogs. Develop and maintain brand consistency and identity across all marketing channels and touchpoints. Implement strategies to enhance brand visibility, awareness, and recognition in the market. Accountabilities Team Leadership: Lead and manage the marketing team as a player coach, providing guidance, direction, instructions, and support to ensure the achievement of marketing objectives. Marketing & Branding Strategy: Formulate and execute marketing plans and branding plans to promote products and services effectively, aligned with business goals and market trends. Capture industry issues/trends and customer pain-points/solutions with join-marketing collaboration with analysts, influencers, customers, and partners. Content Creation: Manage the production of promotional marketing materials and sales aid, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and target audience preferences across various channels. Take charge of the development and management of LSPedia's podcast channel, overseeing all aspects of planning, scheduling, and overall success management, contributing to the company's broader content strategy. Digital Marketing Management: Build and maintain a digital marketing calendar based on data analysis, industry trends, and sales forecasts, while managing social media channels to maintain quality standards and engagement. Spearhead the creation, setup, and continuous monitoring of digital advertising campaigns across diverse platforms, ensuring optimized performance and maximum reach. Lead Gen Execution and Collaboration: Design and execute impactful email campaigns, optimize content and targeting for maximum engagement and conversion, and collaborate with partners and customers on joint marketing initiatives to drive mutual success. Lead the strategic planning, scheduling, and meticulous management of all LSPedia's events, encompassing trade show participation, dinner events, and virtual events. Ensure seamless logistics facilitation and strive for the success of every event to bolster the company's presence in the industry. Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 10+ years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a SaaS company, 3 years managing 3+ staff. Proven track record of successfully managing creative marketing teams, strategies, and budgets. Strong understanding of digital, email, and social media marketing principles. Proficiency in marketing automation technology and CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Adobe). Experience with A/B testing, email campaign management, and analytics tools. Excellent written communication skills and digital media design proficiency. Innovative thinker with a passion for implementing new ideas and techniques. Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
