Job Type Full-timeDescriptionThe Executive Sales Director is a key driver for the overall success of our organization Not only are you looking for new sales opportunities in our customer base, you are continually looking for new vendor partners to add to our portfolio and build our marketshare. Motivated by growth opportunity, rising to the challenge of landing the big fish, managing a team, and being an intricate part of the leadership team for ongoing strategic and operational goals. RequirementsVendor relationship managing, creating growth opportunities with existing vendors as well as landing new vendor deals, with a strong focus on contract negotiationsStrong phone presence with clients, vendors, and strategic partnersManage targets and goals against overall goals, identifying gaps and strategically planning to address and navigate accordinglyProactively look for new growth opportunities and an increase in market shareMake recommendations for new lead sources as knowledge and familiarity with the industry developCollaborate with marketing team to develop effective promotional materialsFocus on sales plans to achieve profit goals, working closely with key stakeholders to meet objectivesManage and mentor teamCore Competencies Excellent negotiation and communication skills Exceptional leadership and project management acumenAdaptable and able to excel in a fast-paced environment Collaborative yet able to narrow in on the right decision and executeQualificationsBachelor's Degree required or equivalent job-related experience Minimum 5 years of B2B sales About Patton Logistics + Route ConsultantHeadquartered in Brentwood, TN, our organization consists of financial, recruiting, and transportation entities as well as a brokerage consulting services organization specializing in connecting new and experienced logistics business owners.Additional Information•The ideal candidate understands the nature of our business is not 9-5 and is willing to work extended/flexible hours as needed•This position will require candidate to primarily work from the office, but some work-from-home flexibility is included•PTO is flexible once training is complete and performance expectations are being met•Employee benefits available, including employer-paid health insuranceTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each key responsibility satisfactorily.
