Join our team today. **Position Details** + Reports to Warehouse Manager + Direct oversight of 3 to 5 associates + Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm Responsibilities + Maintain and develop a productive warehouse by hiring, training and providing professional development for all of its associates + Supervise and coordinate the picking and shipping of outbound orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness with both product and paperwork + Ensure warehouse space is utilized effectively and kept clean and orderly + Ensure integrity of inventory and confirm that cycle counts are completed + Maintain security of warehouse and safety of all associates and equipment, reporting any accidents and conveying any issues to branch management + May be responsible for providing back-up driver duties and responsibilities Qualifications + A strong background in Warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is required + Must be at least 18 years of age + Valid state issued license is preferred + 2+ years of warehouse management or supervisory experience is preferred + Material Handling Equipment Certification is a plus + A working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations + Good judgment and decision-making abilities + Great communication skills and the ability and desire to lead a team Ferguson is dedicated to providing meaningful benefits programs and products to our associates and their families—geared toward benefits, wellness, financial protection, and retirement savings.
