Data Visualization Specialist

Data Visualization Specialist in Vandalia, OH A Data Visualization Specialist collects and cleans data from various sources and transforms it into visually appealing and comprehensible graphics, charts, and dashboards. They collaborate with Data Analysts and business stakeholders to create meaningful visual representations of data insights that facilitate decision-making. Data Visualization Specialists ensure that complex data is presented in an understandable format for both technical and non-technical audiences. Job duties include collecting and cleaning data, designing and creating visual representations, understanding stakeholders' needs, and effectively communicating findings through presentations and reports. They stay up-to-date on the latest data visualization tools and techniques to continually improve their skills. Skills and Qualifications: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js Graphic design skills for creating visually engaging charts and dashboards Understanding of user experience (UX) principles to enhance data visualization Data interpretation and storytelling abilities to convey insights effectively Attention to detail for accurate and clear visualization Knowledge of data analysis concepts to appropriately represent data Collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams TECHNICAL SKILLS Must Have: Review current digital tools utilized onsite that have broken, repair and create resiliency through documented manuals of how to utilize and troubleshoot common issues with the tools. This may include but is not limited to: RPAs, PowerBI, PowerApps and SQL reports Standardize existing tools across each of the operations onsite (i.e. DDS toolkit) Create new digital tools that leverage existing APIs, PowerBI or others in support of Daily Management System-related activities Support the site Digital Pillar as necessary to deliver digital innovation Nice To Have: Proven in-depth expertise and programming/coding experience with Knime, Power BI, PowerApps, Databricks, SQL/Python Experience developing and deploying production software Demonstrated initiative/follow through, professionalism and integrity Strong collaboration, positive conflict resolution Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with corporate stakeholders and various internal departments at client Able to balance multiple priorities #J-18808-Ljbffr
