Our San Diego office is looking for a Civil EIT or PE with 2+ years of experience to join our Transportation Planning and Traffic Operations team.
Responsibilities:
Support and often take the lead on various traffic and transportation planning activities
Develop traffic impact studies, intersection control evaluations, crash data analysis, GIS analysis and mapping, database development and management, transportation planning, traffic analysis, and other transportation and traffic safety-related duties
Contribute to the growth of this practice by participating in client meetings, client communication/coordination, mentorship of junior-level staff, and task management while working with a variety of individuals
Qualifications:
2+ years of traffic engineering experience
BS Civil Engineering, preference for MS Civil with focus on transportation
EIT license
Experience in preparing and/or reviewing traffic impact studies for small and large projects
Experience in preparing site access and circulation studies
Proficiency in using Synchro, VISSIM, and/or other traffic analysis software applications
Ability to communicate technical thoughts clearly and concisely
Ability to work well within a team, including both taking direction and supervising
Excellent technical writing skills
