As an Organizational Development Business Partner, you will be a pivotal force driving strategic initiatives to enhance employee performance, engagement, and overall organizational effectiveness through comprehensive employee development, training, and retention programs. You will have a dual focus on designing and implementing comprehensive training programs, both virtually and in-person, while also creating and maintaining impactful employee development initiatives. Reporting to the Organizational Development Manager, you will work collaboratively across departments to design, implement, and evaluate initiatives that shape our organizational culture, leadership capabilities, and employee growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training & Development:

  • Lead comprehensive training program development and execution, including needs assessment, content creation, delivery (virtual and in-person), and evaluation.
  • Utilize a variety of media to create supporting material including but not limited to audio, video, simulations, role plays, and interactive games, to enhance the training experience.
  • Design effective assessment tools like tests and quizzes to measure the effectiveness and ensure alignment of learning content with established learning objectives of training programs and business strategies.
  • Facilitate dynamic and interactive training sessions for groups ranging from small teams to larger audiences, both in virtual and physical settings.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify specific training & development needs for various roles and locations aligned with the company's strategic goals and objectives.
  • Continuously update and improve training programs based on feedback, performance data, and emerging best practices.
  • Design, implement, and facilitate employee training programs, workshops, and development initiatives that enhance skills, performance, and engagement.
Employee Development Programs:
  • Collaborate with leadership teams to identify employee development needs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Design, implement, and maintain employee development initiatives that nurture skills, performance, and career growth.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of employee development programs through data analysis and feedback.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in organizational development, incorporating relevant insights into program design.
Talent & Performance Management:
  • Design and implement performance management processes, including goal setting, regular check-ins, and performance reviews.
  • Provide guidance to managers on effective performance feedback, coaching, and development conversations.
  • Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure consistent evaluation and rating of employee performance.
  • Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent and performance management and employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align talent and performance strategies with business goals.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify high-potential employees and develop targeted growth plans.
  • Collaborate with managers to create individual development plans tied to performance goals.
Employee Engagement:
  • Conduct regular employee surveys and analyze results to identify engagement trends and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to measure and enhance employee engagement levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to organize team-building and morale-boosting activities.
  • Design and manage internal communication strategies that enhance employee engagement.
  • Analyze turnover data to identify retention risks and develop targeted retention strategies.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work as a strategic partner to build and maintain strong relationships with various departments to ensure organizational development efforts align with overall business strategies and initiatives.
  • Foster a culture of continuous feedback and development across the organization.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on organizational development best practices, sharing knowledge and insights across the organization.
  • Manage and execute multiple projects concurrently with minimal supervision.
  • Embrace other responsibilities as they arise in this dynamic role.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in an Organizational Development related field preferred.
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology.
  • Experience with eLearning design programs (Articulate and/or Captivate).
  • Strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Adobe Suite, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models.
  • Ability to write effective instructional text and/or audio scripts/video scripts.
  • Experience with technical/ERP system training is preferred.
  • Workday or other Learning Management System (LMS) experience is preferred.
  • Goal-oriented with the ability to multi-task under pressure in fast-paced work environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models preferred.
  • Project Management skills with ability to solve problems with minimal supervision.
  • Presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbally and written).
  • Competency with various training techniques: Instructor led or self-directed, webinar, classroom, in person/remote, games, stories, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail, organized, and results oriented.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Leadership skills.
  • Willingness to travel, as needed.
