Accountant

Our company, located in the East Bay area, is currently seeking an experienced accountant to join our team. In this role, you will play a critical role in the financial operations of our company and have the chance to work with a dynamic team of professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
  • Perform month-end close procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with collections and AR & AR processes
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Sage OR Timberline a plus
  • 3+ years of experience in a corporate accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
