**ABOUT THE ROLE**

Butler Hospitality is looking for a Catering Manager to oversee all aspects of the sell-in support,

coordination, guest-relations, delivery, and ultimate performance of our catering services. This includes

efficient, prompt communication and providing an exceptional customer & guest/consumer experience.

You will lead the delivery of catering success using a combination of extreme organization, a high-level

of detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Catering Manager will be responsible for developing and executing catering contracts and

activations that fulfill our customers needs and exceeding their expectations for levels of service and

quality. Acting as a liaison between the Butler restaurant teams, Butler Customer Success, and the

Butler-served Hotels hospitality & sales teams, this position will work directly with the clients/guests advising the selection of menu items, schedule catering staff, arrange for facilities and/or staff, and communicate customer/client needs to the appropriate personnel, directly supporting the needs and goals of for every Butler hotel partner and their teams (including GMs, Directors of Sales, hospitality teams).

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

* Ensure all event info is up to date and fully detailed prior to event for all involved parties.

* Conduct briefing meetings with hotel partners, clients/guests, and Butler Operations Team to discuss, plan, coordinate, and quote upcoming events/catering requests.

* Review selected menu options, logistics, labor, event floorplans, pack lists and rental equipment to ensure success

* Communicate standards and expectations to all event staff, across multiple simultaneous catering activations.

* Create menus for Catering and Subscription partners, facilitating communication with each customer and the Butler Culinary Team.

* Run the setup and execution of events, often remote/virtually acting as central command to ensure success by coordinating all the disparate and moving pieces.

* Proactively and efficiently manage all Subscription partners by being up to date on all details of their operational needs (be their eyes and planning function on their behalf).

* Manage employees and temp employees related to coordination and execution of the catered events, holding them accountable for their work and driving solutions to issues as they arise.

* Maintain and grow established customer relationships as well as generating new relationships.

**QUALIFICATIONS**

* 10+ years of experience and proven success in F&B / Catering / Event Management, soliciting, negotiating and building new and repeat business through client meetings, high-quality activation management, customer experience & satisfaction, networking, etc.

* Technology & data-driven, with excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to see the vision / big picture just as clearly as the immediate & smallest of details and how they all work together.

* Experience preparing catering BEOs, proposals, catering/event orders, and executing on budget with high client satisfaction.

* Analytical, fluent in understanding recurring sales reports and utilizing to optimize performance.

* Excellent phone skills, adaptable, and presentable for a variety of clients.

* Excellent communication and relationship building skills, with experience partnering deeply with customers AND other key internal leaders.

* Able to successfully function independently with a high level of communication and interaction with management and customers.

* Able to partner with the general managers & logistics teams of our partner hotels to delegate, coordinate, and execute catering and events.

* Able to build, develop and promote brand & catering service awareness.

* Experience with effectively communicating objectives, KPI performance vs. goals, recognized opportunities, and action plans to multiple stakeholders and teams.
