Trillium Staffing has an immediate opening for a CFD Engineer at this terrific Columbus manufacturing company

The CFD Engineer is responsible for taking information from sales and application engineering to complete design projects for heating solutions.

Responsibilities:
•Review design specifications for feasibility in manufacturing
•Create customer geometry, heating element, and jacket layers in SolidWorks for simulation.
•Complete heating element layout designs
•Create and review shop drawings, bills of materials, and bills of operations, to produce custom heating products
•Perform heat transfer analyses for various applications including freeze protection, condensation prevention, and process heating.
•Run simulations using Ansys and troubleshoot as needed

Great direct hire opportunity offering full benefits package, paid time off, and 401K. Salary will be in the range of $65-75,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred
•3+ years of professional experience
•Knowledge of basic heat transfer principles and electrical circuits
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics
•Experience with SolidWorks and Ansys
•Knowledge of manufacturing documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics, and bills of materials
