Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain ML feature pipelines
- Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
- Run machine learning tests and experiments
- Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
- Train and retrain ML systems when necessary
- Keep abreast of developments in the field
- BS in computer science or related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience
- 4+ years of experience as an ML Engineer or 6+ years of experience as a Data Engineer with 2+ year of experience with ML
- Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
- Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
- Experience writing robust code in Python
- Strong experience with SQL, PostgreSQL or Snowflake preferred
- Familiarity with machine learning frameworks such as Keras or PyTorch and libraries such as scikit-learn.
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
- MS in computer science preferably with AI specialization or mathematics
- Experience developing ML feature pipelines based on data from production data stores
- Experience working with non-engineering teams to understand requirements and how they can be quantified as ML model tests.
