Walmart, Costco, Kroger, Albertsons/Safeway, Publix, HEB, Target, Food Lion, Meijer, BJ s, and Shoprite.With ambitious expansion plans on the immediate horizon, this is a unique opportunity for a Trade Marketing Manager to experience personal and professional growth while also having an immediate impact on the business.Position SummaryThe Trade Marketing Manager will have a broad set of commercial priorities from inside sales and account management with customer visibility to shopper marketing program planning & execution, and commercial analytics/insights. S/he is responsible for supporting Lily s overall growth & velocity objectives by driving profitable sales growth within assigned areas of responsibility.S/he is expected to proactively develop sales strategies and tactics, in collaboration with other departments, to grow existing distribution and expand into new accounts and channels within assigned territories. This role will be customer facing.This is a home office position reporting to the VP of Marketing with a dotted line to VP of Sales.Primary responsibilitiesSales/CustomerContribute to the company s overall goal of driving rapid, profitable growth by delivering against annual sales plan goals and objectives.Responsible for key Sales Operational functions, including sales samples, S&OP input, including owning TPM system and maintenance, LTG asset management (ensure assets are up-to-date and correct at all customer accounts via 3rd party portals for LTG images (Syndigo, 1WorldSync, etc.))Lead periodic customer presentations and negotiations with buyers and brokers.Prepare & participate in annual category reviews with key accounts to evaluate performance, identify new opportunities, and strengthen customer relationships.Identify new business opportunities to expand sales, grow market share, and drive account-level profitability with assigned customer accounts.Commercial Performance InsightsManage and report on monthly syndicated data (Circana) metrics monthly. Deliver the reporting to the organization, with detailed insights and monthly recaps of the data, along with recommendations on key customer programs and marketing opportunities.Shopper MarketingPartner with VP of Marketing & customer teams to plan, execute and report on Shopper Marketing strategies to drive trial, repeat and velocity growth for assigned retailers.Work with marketing, sales, and customer teams to coordinate additional below the line spending for key customers.Set up and track all coupons (Ibotta, Inmar, etc.) and other customer specific marketing vehicles, providing insights on programming and recommendations on future executions.GeneralInteracts with customers, clients, sales agencies, customer headquarter personnel, supply chain personnel, Marketing agencies and internal Lily s Leadership Team.Embrace role as an enthusiastic, personable, and engaging brand ambassador at all times supported by deep company, brand, and product knowledge including brand positioning, retail pricing, and marketing and promotional strategiesQualifications/Skills/Experience:3-10 years prior experience in Consumer Package Goods, including prior experience in Trade Marketing, Brand Management, Sales or business analytics/customer or category marketingAbility to work cross-functionally in the Commercial functionKnowledge of CPG industry, brand strategies, business reporting, customer strategies, supply and computer systems, including web applicationsBalance the needs of the company with the needs of the customer.
