Marketing Automation Operations Manager

to join one of our retail clients. You will work closely with business stakeholders and developers across our digital ecosystem to execute digital marketing campaigns in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Location : Fully remote (must work PST hours)
Pay Rate : $65-$75/hr+ depending on experience
Duration: 6 months to start, with potential extensions (based on performance and work)

Marketing Automation Operations Manager Responsibilities :
Manage the intake and work request process for new requests from domestic stakeholders for marketing automation.
Scope projects and translate business requests into clear requirements.
Manage the SFMC development team backlog, prioritization and ensure all deliverables are completed on time with input from business leads.
Proactively work to understand and stay on top of new product updates that the team can leverage and evolve SFMC platform.
Proactively suggest tactics and process improvements to achieve various stakeholders goals.
Develop and manage a feedback loop with marketing stakeholders to provide and share status updates.
Coordinate execution steps to support the project, including any dependencies and constraints.
Understand the customer retail landscape and marketing processes, to ensure products meet the needs of all stakeholders.
Help triage incoming bugs, help figure out what the issue is and write up requirements.
Responsible for assuring a level of quality has been achieved by validating that the Story meets acceptance criteria and has met acceptance tests prior and post-production launch verification.
Works with other departments/teams to determine impacts and interdependencies across the business.
Serve as the primary delivery lead and internal and external point of contact for SFMC projects.
Identify and communicate risks and issues internally.

Marketing Automation Operations Manager Qualifications :
Experience with technical marketing platforms, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget preferred), and can be the liaison between business stakeholders and development to make sure business and technical requirements are executed as planned, oversee QA and UAT, and ultimately help to successfully rollout new features and campaigns.
Foundational experience using agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
5+ years of project management experience.
3+ years experience working on digital projects, preferably with eCommerce.
2+ years experience working with executive management stakeholders.
Salesforce certified is a plus.
