Dothan, Alabama, Hospitalist Job Clinical Role: Generous signing bonus Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible Internal Medicine Physician Option to earn quarterly bonus Competitive salary with comprehensive benefits package that includes but is not limited to dental/health insurance, malpractice, CME and retirement Significant shift differential for nocturnist physician providers Paid malpractice with tail coverage Paid interview expenses CME and Professional fees allowances.-Hospital-employed Hospitalist group seeks additional Internal Medicine residency trained physicians to join a robust, rapidly growing practice Provide coverage for unassigned patients who present to ED requiring inpatient care, care for transfers and in 1 hospital consults Admit and co-manage with intensivist support adult patients in critical care 12-hour work shifts, 7a - 7p Minimum requirement is 12 shifts/month Flexible, individualized scheduling 24-hour subspecialty support available for all specialties including presence of in-house radiology physician 24/7 24/7 pulm/critical care support for all CC admissions APP support is available EPIC: EMR Allow RecruitWell to set up a phone call with you and the client to discuss more Organization: One of the largest not-for-profit tertiary referral centers in Alabama 420 licensed bed regional referral center and one of only three Comprehensive Stroke Centers in the state 3,000 + dedicated employees 400+ active Medical Staff 22 ORs with 2 endovascular suites and Interventional cardiology, EP and radiology labs, lithotripsy, 3 MRIs (1 a 3-T), 3 CTs including a fixed 64 slice CT and PET Scanner 24/7 Neurosurgery coverage with 3 employed neurosurgeons and 1 fellowship trained neuroendovascular interventionalist 56 total ICU beds with a 10-bed dedicated Neuro Critical Care Unit Medical Hospitalist program provides ED unassigned coverage, care for transfers, and inpatient consults 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program Serves over 600,000 in a 75-mile radius Level II trauma center staffed by EM residency trained physicians One of 3 Comprehensive Stroke Centers in Alabama with a dedicated lab for neuroendovascular procedures open heart surgery suites Pain Management services provided through OPT services on campus 28 bed inpatient psychiatric program Accredited Internal Medicine and Transitional Year residency programs Alabama's first osteopathic medical school and the first in the U.S. to be developed by a regional medical center.
