Job Description:

Cinch is seeking an experienced, highly technical and visionary Vice President of Product to lead our product management team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving product innovation, strategy, and execution in a fast-paced environment. For a short period, this role will also manage the engineering team, with both the product and engineering teams reporting directly to them. As the VP of Product, you will be responsible for defining and delivering a product roadmap that aligns with our company's goals and market needs. Early in this position you will need to be writing user stories and ensuring releases go smoothly. This is an all-in-office role.

Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Vision Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Cinch's overall business objectives. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats. Define and prioritize with the founders, the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals. Team Leadership and Management Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing product management team. Temporarily manage the engineering team, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration with product development and hiring of new engineers, Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring that customer feedback and insights are integrated into product development, while innovating and preparing the product for the things the customers and users aren’t yet aware is something they need or want. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and customer success, to ensure successful product development and launch. Drive product innovation by staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies. Work with product marketing and customers success team to ensure user adoption through tools like Pendo. Product Development and Lifecycle Management Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch, including post-launch analysis and optimization. Establish and track key performance metrics to measure product success and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications: Demonstrated success in scaling a product team in a startup from around $5M in ARR to beyond $20M 10+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Must be highly technical, with a preference for a background in engineering or software development. Proven experience in leading and scaling product teams in a high-growth environment. Must have strong understanding of SaaS products and technologies. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Passion for technology and a deep understanding of the digital landscape. Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree (Optional with the right experience)
