Requirements

Experience developing and building the HR function in a manufacturing environment.

Experience with recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.

Knowledge of compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, health insurance, and retirement plans.

Ability to develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with business goals and objectives.

Experience in performance management, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to employees.

Knowledge of HRIS systems and proficiency in using HR software to manage employee data, benefits, and payroll.

Ability to develop and deliver training programs on HR topics.

Experience in conflict resolution and the ability to handle employee relations issues with professionalism and sensitivity.

Ability to analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.

Experience with ISO9001 compliance as well as state and federal regulations within manufacturing.

Fluent English and Spanish language skills (verbal and written).

Extensive experience in the use of payroll systems / providers and able to seek and implement solutions to improve the payroll process.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and multiple state regulations as well as company guidelines.

Partner with business leaders to identify and address staffing needs, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new employees.

Administer employee compensation and benefits programs, ensuring fairness and competitiveness in the marketplace.

Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related topics such as performance management, employee relations, and organizational development.

Collect and report HR related KPIs and assume ownership for the results and implement counter measures as required.

Manage the Payroll process and providers to ensure data accuracy and the timely completion of the payroll cycle.

Lead various committees that support safety, employee satisfaction, and environmental and community stewardship.

Be the initial point of contact when dealing with regulatory agencies that involve employee health and Safety, labor relations, EEOC, and Workmans compensation.

Ensure compliance with HR related ISO requirements.

Lead the on-boarding and off-boarding process to ensure compliance with all requirements.

Qualifications:

Completed a formal HR related program at a recognized college / University.

10+ years of HR experience in a manufacturing environment with at least 5 years in a HR leadership roll

Strong negotiation skills

Hands-on leadership style with a proven track record in change management and ability to meet tight timeline deliverables.

Lead by example of steward leadership.

Strong presentation skills accompanied by accomplished adult training skills.
