Department: Quality ControlSummary: The roles and responsibilities of the QC Assistant Manager are as follows:Integrate and administer customer quality requirements throughout organization; Facilitate the corrective action process throughout the organization; Facilitate design change and implementation; Assist with department objectives and KPI; Verify products and processes meet design intent; Internal and external auditing support; SQCD training and monitoring compliance; Support and implement MNCR processes and supplier development processes; Assignment and tasks as directed by management.Reports To: QC ManagerResponsibilitiesNPGS quality requirements and judgmentAdhere to all TS 16949 requirements.Support /follow ISO 14001 procedures.APQP/ANPQP/CQM AdministrationCreation and maintenance of QMS documentationCoordination and application of the corrective action processContainment as a function of corrective or preventive actionComplete material non-conformance reports, appropriate inspection sheets and other related reports Implementation of quality improvementsSPC/MSA as applicableMeasurement of critical characteristicsDirect, train, supervise, and administer policy to QC associates.Maintain conformance with company policies and procedures.Coordinate QC department functions and communicationsParticipate and promote participation in company programs. Adhere to and enforce all company policies and procedures. Any additional duties assigned by manager.RequirementsGood organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Project or equivalent)Flexibility to work overtime and weekends with short notice.Familiarity with inspection gauges, tools, measurements, and QC testing3-5 years supervisory experienceBachelor's Degree or equivalent field experiencePhysical Demands and Working Environment:The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents and to operate equipment. Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
