Position Summary: Medical Affairs: Works with the EVP/CMO in the management and coordination of the CME program to maintain DHLC's eligibility as an Accredited Provider. Provides credentialing assistance and manages and coordinates the Library Services in conjunction with the Director of Medical Staff Services to maintain and keep contemporary all requirements for Library services across the Center Provides reception duties as first point of contact into the Admin/Medical Affairs suite.

Experience

Required: 1-3 years of CME program experience, and a background in education or learning; 1-3 years of secretarial experience

Preferred: : 6-12 months in the field of hospital credentialing

Preferred: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist

Skills

Required: A comprehensive background in education and teaching for interpretation of presentations and CME documentation. Attention to detail and accuracy in verifying credentials, excellent organizational and time management skills; strong interpersonal skills in order to work with physician level participants with knowledge of medical terminology, experience with WORD, Excel, Powerpoint and presentation platforms a must.

Preferred: knowledge of clinical, continuing medical education programs and requirements, including ACCME requirements, and knowledge of accreditation requirements and credentialing software would be helpful

HOURS: 80 hours per pay period
