Additionally, you will contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new technologies, providing technical expertise and training to staff. This position is crucial in ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality of care through the reliable and effective use of medical technology. Responsibilities: Design and Development: Develop new medical devices and equipment, ensuring they meet regulatory and safety standards. Testing and Evaluation: Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of medical devices to ensure functionality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. Research: Stay updated on the latest technological advancements and research in the biomedical field to incorporate new ideas into product development. Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare professionals, scientists, and other engineers to understand user needs and translate them into technical specifications. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products meet the necessary regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., FDA, CE). Documentation: Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and user manuals. Analytical Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve equipment issues efficiently. Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely. Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulations and standards (e.g., FDA, CE, ISO). Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with healthcare professionals and documenting technical information. Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
