Project Manager

At Valdes Architecture & Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead our Multiphase Projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in managing completion of detail design, coordinating with engineering firms, and developing project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage completion of detail design
  • Coordinate with engineering firm to develop +/-10% cost estimate
  • Develop and maintain project schedule
  • Manage capital project and execution to ensure on schedule, within budget, and project quality
  • Manage professional services, contractor, and construction resources
  • Create or update all process; project; equipment; drawings; and spare parts, applicable to assigned projects
  • Communicate as appropriate in the achievement of department, site, and business goals
  • Perform all other duties related to the project

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (1st preference Chemical, 2nd preference Mechanical) or related field with equivalent job experience
  • A minimum of 5-7 years project engineering experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Must be able to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future
