Data Manager - Enterprise Asset Management/Computerized Maintenance Management System

Lets do this Lets change the world Undertake various projects assigned to develop, implement, manage, and monitor all aspects of system data as it relates to Amgens Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) application.

Responsibilities include:
  • Support initiatives and actively participate on integrating CMMS data with other business systems such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems or Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) to provide a comprehensive view of maintenance operations.

  • Act as the in-house data steward/owner for Amgens EAM/CMMS database and reporting tools.

  • Be the corporate expert on the information structure within the EAM/CMMS application and develop queries/reports to support standardization.

  • Monitor and audit data quality, taking corrective actions as necessary.

  • Manage data from requirements through retirement to improve business processes and agility while reducing costs.

  • Data validation, clean-up, and adherence to enterprise data standards and business requirements.

  • Improve the methods and ways in which Amgens facilities and equipment maintenance program obtains and analyzes data including collecting and interpreting data, analyzing and reporting results, identifying patterns and trends in data, and defining new data collection and analysis processes.

  • Identify digital solutions to improve efficiencies within the Maintenance business processes.

  • Support and assist the business in achieving maximum value from the EAM/CMMS system.

  • Advance the use of EAM/CMMS system functionality/capability to improve workflow and process.

  • Maintain appropriate records and documentation to satisfy regulatory requirements.

  • Analyze maintenance data generated by the EAM/CMMS to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and optimize maintenance schedules.

  • Develop and generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities, such as work order execution, equipment reliability business metrics and maintenance costs.

  • Enable Asset Performance Management (APM) tools to improve the utilization of data analytics to implement predictive maintenance strategies, identifying potential equipment failures before they occur based on historical data patterns.

  • Design and create visualizations and dashboards to help communicate findings and results effectively to team members.

  • Uncover trends and correlations through data mining and analysis to develop insights that can improve the business and help make effective decisions.

  • Collaborate and innovate with Amgen data science team to unlock new value drivers from our data.

  • Partner with functional networks and site management to develop and implement equipment reliability plans.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on insights gained from data analysis, collaborating with maintenance teams to implement best practices and optimize maintenance processes.

  • Collaborate with Amgen business units, site, and functional partners to deliver results; influence and communicate effectively with clients.

  • Lead initiatives related with data analytics. Lead initiatives interacting with DTI teams responsible for software improvements and engineering teams responsible for analyzing, and interpreting maintenance data.

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree OR

Masters degree and 2 years of relevant experience managing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR

Bachelors degree and 4 years of relevant experience managing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR

Associates degree and 8 years of relevant experience managing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience OR

High school diploma / GED and 10 years of relevant experience managing the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) / Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) data reporting and analytics, or maintenance engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or Engineering

  • Experience with data system development and management. Knowledge of EAM/CMMS Systems

  • Knowledge of Industry 4.0

  • Experience with Agile methodologies

  • Data analytics skills and proficiency in systems (Maximo, SAP, Excel, Brio, Tableau, and/or Python).

  • Experience with equipment maintenance and reliability centered maintenance (RCM) concepts.

  • Knowledge of ISO 55000 Asset Management Principals

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, JMP, BO etc

  • Proficiency in data management and analytics tools.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and analysis.

  • Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Effective and strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Demonstrated skills leading global programs and initiatives.

  • Program development and project management skills.

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
