Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinists in Colorado Springs, CO.
As a CNC Machinist you will:
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC Swiss machines
  • Perform setups, changeovers, and tool offsets on multiple CNC Swiss machines
  • Inspects and measures micro parts
  • Maintain proper condition of measuring instruments
  • Maintain proper cutting conditions on machining center
  • Record keeping and reporting
  • Continual process improvement
  • Other related duties as assigned

This is a full time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • 2+ years of CNC Machining experience
  • Ability to set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines
  • Ability to perform set ups and tooling changes/offsets
  • Experience working with Microscopes, toolmakers scopes and other precision measurement equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Lean or 6 Sigma experience desired.

2nd shift--3 PM until 1:00 AM Monday through Friday.
Additional overtime may be required and training is on 1st shift
Pay Rate: $21.00 to $29.00 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
