Description
This is a part time position and must be available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm on Wednesday and Thursday with other hours possible. The position will be 20-30 hours. This position will be at multiple locations.

Position:
Great team members are ones who fit our culture and values, working to ensure that patients feel welcome and at ease through their experience in our clinic. We strive to provide a friendly and encouraging environment for our patients and you play a key role.
Your primary focus on the team is to be responsible for patient interaction, answering the phone, scheduling, patient data entry and general administration duties in the clinic. This position requires the ability to deal tactfully with patients, family members, insurance, and the general public. Experience with insurance, patient or customer service and healthcare is preferred.
In addition, a portion of this position will include being a Physical Therapy Technician, PT Tech, and Scribe. You will be directly relating to patients to ensure they are comfortable and feel welcome. Assist the clinicians in their day to day work. In the role as a PT tech, you will be greeting patients and working side by side with them as directed by the therapist. You will prepare and gather equipment to facilitate quick and efficient transitions for patients. In addition you will be entering patient data into our EMR system.
What You Need to be Successful:
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to be welcoming and to put people at ease.
- Have a high level of proficiency with computers and Microsoft programs.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize various patient, clinician, and clinic needs.
- Detail oriented and a need to make sure that every detail is correct.
- Strong people and communication skills.
Qualifications:
High School diploma desired. Previous front desk and insurance experience preferred.

Minimum Education/Licensure/Certification:
High school diploma is preferred; satisfactory completion of on the job training.
Physical Requirements:
Requires frequent walking throughout clinic; requires sitting at a workstation/desk; requires standing; work may include occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 30 lbs. such as files, documents and small equipment. Work requires finger dexterity and eye hand coordination to operate computer keyboard and clinic equipment.
Mental Demands:
Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests; ability to resolve conflict amongst staff and to work collaboratively with clinic director, physicians, other members of the staff; ability to concentrate and focus on projects; possess creative systems thinking to ensure operational efficiency; ability to problem solve and make decisions; self control and stress tolerance in dealing with multiple requests and conflicting demands from multiple customers.
