Job Description

The Senior Provider Enrollment Specialist will support the division in facilitating and submitting timely, high quality and appropriate enrollment applications for the providers with the various government and insurance healthcare payors and third-party billing entities that require provider enrollment.

Responsibilities

  • Complete pre-enrollment questionnaire
  • Ensure the correct method/form version for enrollment is being utilized.
  • Prepare and send billing packet.
  • Complete surrogacy requests
  • Follow up/escalate/work outstanding signature packet report.
  • Scan in individual enrollment apps in enrollment system.
  • Complete on-line /submit enrollment applications to payors.
  • Receive/upload (scan) packet into enrollment software system.
  • Conduct payor confirmation calls.
  • Add/work dependencies as needed.
  • Conduct payor follow up calls.
  • Upload and work development and deficiencies and update enrollment software system.
  • Work denials and associated held/active AR.
  • Proactively manage enrollments to reduce Held AR to a minimum.
  • Demonstrate proficiency utilizing reports necessary to complete responsibilities of the enrollment representative role.
  • Complete all functions associated with enrollment and any special projects, as assigned.

Education/Experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associates or bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of Provider Enrollment required
  • Experience in a managed care setting is preferred.
Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • Smartsheet
  • PECOS
