Position Overview :
The utilization of loan origination technologies is vital to Benchmark’s ability to successfully serve our clients. The Business Analyst is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and technical requirements for the Encompass loan origination system and other lending technologies.
Ideal candidates for this position have an extensive working knowledge of Encompass, are highly analytical with proven problem-solving abilities, and possess excellent communication skills.
Essential Functions of the Role :
Analyze the loan application and approval procedures to identify areas for streamlining and improving efficiencies, improving the experience for all users.
Document system workflows, forms, reports, dashboards, and business rules, creating user stories and/or functional use cases.
Lead fact-gathering efforts with leadership and operational teams to gather system requirements to requested solutions.
Analyze test results to identify defects, errors, and configuration issues, promptly developing and implementing resolutions.
Partner with the training team to prepare documentation and communication strategies prior to deploying changes into the production environment.
Partner with the management on project planning activities and development of systemic solutions to solve complex business problems.
Other duties as assigned.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum three (3) years’ residential mortgage loan origination experience required.
At least three (2) years’ experience Encompass administration required.
Education / Licensing Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
Working Conditions:
Fast-paced environment.
Requires normal vision (corrected) both close and distant.
Requires normal hearing levels (corrected).
Requires working at a desk to use a phone and computer for extended periods of time.
Requires sitting, bending.
Works effectively with frequent interruptions.
Lifting requirements of 25 lbs. occasionally.
Minimal travel
