  • Prepares and inputs data into computer database.
  • Responds to telephone inquiries and directs to proper person.
  • Maintains files in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Requests purchase order numbers.
  • Requisitions supplies as needed.
  • Provides administrative support including but not limited to typing, filing, distributing mail, directing visitors, and scheduling appointments.
  • Assists with payroll and insurance questions and assists employees with acquiring personnel information.
  • Assists other employees with their duties.
  • Participates in activities and duties related to emergency management during a local state of disaster as directed by appropriate county managers.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma/GED .
  • One-year job related experience.
  • Good computer and typing skills (minimum 35 WPM).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to do research.
  • Good interpersonal skills, ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees and elected officials.


SALARY RANGE: $14.31 - $17.89 hourly based on qualifications

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
