Role Objectives & Responsibilities The Director of Field Scheduling serves a critical role, overseeing multiple business functions, including but not limited to scheduling of internal field services staff and 3rd party inspectors (Technicians, DD Inspectors, SCS & Turns Project Managers), Utility Operations, and Fleet Administration. The Director will spend extensive time collaborating with Shared Services’ business partners, including but not limited to Field Services, Property Operations, Accounting, Leasing & Renewals, Evictions, Asset Management, Special Projects, Vendor Management, Customer Service, IT, and HR. As we continue to build the Field Scheduling organization, which will include saleable services in the future state, this role will be quintessential in establishing process and workflow, ensuring that we are translating business needs into proper utilization of internal resources and associated spending. The Field Scheduling team reporting to the Director consists of on- and off-shore associates. The team size will fluctuate to support business needs. This role is fully remote, with hours in the Eastern Time Zone. Additional responsibilities may be assigned to support the growing business.

Primary Responsibilities: Oversight of assigned teams: monitoring performance, workload, workflow, productivity, quality assurance, coaching, performance management, training, and development Coaches, trains, and develops a team of direct reports Manage vendor partnerships for contracted employees, ensuring productivity, quality, and hour reconciliation. Partners with Vendor Management on onboarding, quality, pricing, and other needs and trends Serve as a subject matter expert and the primary person responsible for team escalations Support direct reports in day-to-day operations, empowering team members to accomplish their work Partner with the Executive Director of Field Scheduling and other leaders within Shared and Field Services to ideate, implement, report on and achieve Field Scheduling organizational goals Drive positive change through influence management in a matrixed organization

Requirement Knowledge & Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience Experience (Required): 2 years of management and people leader experience 1 year working in a matrixed organization requiring influence management of those without direct reporting relationships to achieve mutual goals 1 year of project or change management experience Demonstrated experience in delivering results in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Participation in organizational strategic planning efforts & problem-solving initiatives Exposure to software programs, including payment systems, accounting software, routing, scheduling, invoicing systems, customer relationship management Single-family residential maintenance or utility operations Education (Preferred): n/a Experience (Preferred): Utility operations Reporting analytics related to scheduling, workforce management & utility operations Fleet administration Field scheduling/routing Delivering executive presentations Drafting strategic initiatives and proposals Maintenance and/or work order management

Required Skills Detail-oriented and quality-minded Project and change management technique Ability to learn the job duties, then teach, coach, and mentor others to perform the job duties Ability to understand the details and determine the best communication method to lead the team to produce the desired result Strong multi-tasking and project management skills Moderate understanding of Microsoft Office Suite and other types of professional software systems Strong written and verbal communication skills; specifically, able to work and communicate with people across various disciplines Ability to influence decisions and outcomes Strong problem-solving skills Must be able to evaluate the cost-effectiveness of programs and initiatives and recommend opportunities for improving efficiency, output, cost reductions, etc. Willingness and ability to learn new technology Ability to regularly deliver, with quality, on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics and objectives Skills (Preferred): General understanding of construction, renovation, property operations, scheduling, routing and dispatching
